Improve status of forest habitats

Although, most of the forests within the project area are in considerable good ecological condition, there are certain forest parcels, where this action will improve the diversity. The former forestry practice focused only on tree species, the second canopy layer (e.g Acer tatarica) or scrub layer (e.g Frangula alnus) was neglected.

By this action, we would like to reintroduce the native canopy or scrub species on certain places, due to that the species diversity and forest structure will be significantly improved.
